Digital Desk: In a continued effort to curb illegal liquor production and distribution, an enforcement operation was conducted on 20th March under the jurisdiction of  Noonmati Excise Circle. The operation started at 05:00 AM, initially targeting an illegal production center.

The raid at Bapuji Nagar Hill resulted in a major seizure of both illicit liquors along with distillation materials such as 150 litres of distilled product, 5500 kg of fermented wash, 8 distillation apparatus sets, 40 kg of starter cakes, and 25 miscellaneous items.

Illicit Distilled Liquor: Approximately 150 litres
Fermented Wash (F/W): Around 5500 kg
Distillation Apparatus Sets: 8
Starter Cake: 40 kg
Drums and Other Utensils: 25

 Following the standard protocol, the raid site became the disposal location for all confiscated materials. The public safety commitment of the excise team includes operations focused on completely removing illegal liquor operations.
