Cape Town: South Africa’s fast bowler Dale Steyn has announced retirement from all forms of the game after having an outstanding career.

Steyn has been in and out of the game for many years due to injury issues.

Announcing his retirement on Twitter he wrote, "It's been 20 years of training, matches, travel, wins, losses, strapped feet, jet lag, joy, and brotherhood. There are too many memories to tell. Too many faces to thank," Today I officially retire from the game I love the most. Bittersweet but grateful."Thank you to everyone, from family to teammates, journalists to fans, it's been an incredible journey together."

Steyn ended his career after playing 93 Tests, 125 ODIs, and 47 T20Is for South Africa.

Steyn had retired from Test Cricket Back in 2019.
