London: In an official announcement, Manchester United has confirmed signing Cristiano Ronaldo on a contract of 2 years.

Ronaldo scored 118 goals in 292 matches when he first played for Manchester United. It was being speculated that he will be joining Manchester City before it was official that he will join his old club.

After his transfer at Manchester United, Ronaldo said that he is happy to be back playing for his old team and also said that the club always had a special place in his heart and also mentioned that he is overwhelmed by all the messages he has received after joining the club on Friday and he cannot wait to play in a full packed stadium at Old Trafford.

Ronaldo is a five-time Ballon d’Or winner and has won more than 30 major trophies in his career so far, which includes four FIFA Club World Cups, five UEFA Champions League Titles, seven league titles in England, Spain, and Italy, and the European Championship for his country Portugal.

Social media was flooded with reactions ever since the news about Ronaldo leaving Juventus and joining United’s rival club Manchester City was widely speculated.
