Digital Desk: Asle Toje, Vice Chairman of the Nobel Prize Committee, said on Wednesday that Prime Minister Narendra Modi is likely to be nominated for the Nobel Peace Prize. He also praised Prime Minister Modi for his contributions to India's development.

Asle Toje, who calls India a "peace legacy," believes the country is destined to become a powerhouse. Furthermore, he stated that PM Modi is the most trusted leader for ending wars and establishing peace.


He stated, "I am pleased that Modi is working not merely to move India ahead, but also on problems that are critical to global peace. India has much to teach the rest of the globe. India will undoubtedly become a superpower." 

Every leader in the world should work for peace, he stressed, and a prominent leader like Narendra Modi has a lot greater opportunity to do so.

Asle Toje is the Norwegian Nobel committee's deputy chairman. The committee determines who receives the Nobel Peace Prize. The committee has arrived in India, and Asle Toje, in an interview with ABP News, stated that Prime Minister Modi is one of the most trustworthy faces of peace in the world.

Asle Toje also stated that India is critical to putting an end to the present Russia-Ukraine conflict.
