Nishikant Dubey made the accusations, charging the Trinamool leader with criminal conspiracy...

Digital Desk: The industrialist Darshan Hiranandani's affidavit, which claims he bribed Trinamool Congress MP Mahua Moitra to raise questions in parliament, was received by the Lok Sabha ethics committee on Friday. The committee promised to look into all of the allegations.

According to Mr. Hiranandani's declaration,Moitra frequently made demands and asked her for favors, such as pricey luxury things. The businessman further claimed that the MP had provided him with her login information for Parliament and that she saw targeting the Adani Group as a means of gaining notoriety.

In front of Lok Sabha Speaker Om Birla, BJP's Nishikant Dubey made the accusations, charging the Trinamool leader with criminal conspiracy, breach of parliamentary privilege, and contempt of the House.

Vinod Sonkar, the head of the ethics committee, revealed, "We have received Darshan Hiranandani's affidavit. On October 26, the committee will consider Mr. Dubey's grievance. The committee has requested that he provide evidence."

Mr. Sonkar described the accusations as grave and stated that the committee would review the letter from Mr. Dubey and the affidavit from Mr. Hiranandani first. Next, we'll hear Ms. Moitra's side of the story. She has angrily refuted the accusations and stated she is ready for any investigation.

"These are grave accusations. We are looking into the situation since it goes beyond the initial evidence," stated Sonkar.

The Lok Sabha MP for Krishnanagar in West Bengal, Ms. Moitra, has requested a permanent injunction to prevent Mr. Dubey, Mr. Dehadrai, social media platform X, Google, and YouTube from making, publishing, or disseminating statements that are malicious, defamatory, or ex facie false about her.
