The water supply in 28 parts of the city will be temporarily interrupted...

Digital Desk: From November 15 to 17, the water supply in 28 parts of the city will be temporarily interrupted, according to an official notice from the Guwahati Jal Board. Continuous pipeline construction aimed at enhancing infrastructure and extending access to new regions is the cause of this planned outage.

The Jal Board claims that as part of a broader improvement, the water supply cutoff will enable necessary pipeline loop removals and permanent installations. It is recommended that residents in impacted areas make appropriate plans because the water supply halt may cause them trouble.

The following regions are affected by this service interruption: Amiya Nagar, Chandmari, Rajgarh, Lachit Nagar, Ulubari, Rupnagar, Bora Service,  Zoo Road, Anil Nagar, Nabin Nagar, Tarun Nagar, ShreeNagar, Bhaskar Nagar, MT Road, Geetanagar, Ambikagiri Nagar, Sundarpur, Manik Nagar, Hengrabari, Swaraj Nagar, Zakir Hussain Road, Downtown, Baramtoria, Ramchahil, Latasil, Silpukhuri, Panbazar, Kharghuli, and surrounding neighborhoods.
