Digital Desk: Another incident was recorded in Guwahati's Zoo Road amid a series of water pipe rupture accidents causing havoc in the city.

According to sources, the incident occurred near the under-construction Zoo Road flyover, where a water pipe burst and submerged the entire area near Rajdhani Nursery.

Locals claim that the officials in charge of the relevant department ignored the reoccurring instances.

On August 6, a water pipeline erected by the Japan International Cooperation Agency (JICA) ruptured in Guwahati's Geetanagar neighbourhood, adding to residents' concerns.

The region experienced an upsurge after a water pipeline ruptured, creating substantial inconvenience to pedestrians.

It should be noted that the city has been dealing with ongoing water pipeline break incidences since the Kharguli tragedy, which claimed one life and injured several more.

Previously, Assam Chief Minister Himanta Biswa Sarma stated that such incidents are nothing new and that no one can stop them.

In response to the multiple water pipeline bust incidents in the city, CM Sarma compared water pipeline bursts in Delhi, Kerela, and other regions of the country to be more obliterating than those in Assam.
