The police department responded rapidly to the complaint by making an arrest of Pathani at South Guwahati.

Digital Desk: A young man  Saraswati Puja celebration took a dark turn when he was arrested for allegedly raping his  suffered girlfriend in Guwahati. The Bhagadattapur police arrested Nekibur Pathani after the victim's family filed their complaint.

The victim reported that Pathani had taken  her to a hotel room pretending to show her Puja celebrations before he committed the rape.  The police department responded swiftly to the complaint by making an arrest of Pathani at South Guwahati.

The police are interrogating him at Dispur police station, and the case has been registered under the Protection of Children from Sexual Offences (POCSO) Act.
