Starting on Monday, the Kho Kho Federation of India will host the 4th Asian Kho Kho Championship (Men and Women) at Tamulpur.

Digital Desk: Indian wrestler Babita Phogat will attend the Asian Kho Kho Championship in Tamulpur, Assam to support the participants.

Pramod Boro, leader of the United People's Party Liberal (UPPL), posted a video of Babita Phogat on Twitter to inform about her visit.

Boro captioned the video, “@BabitaPhogat the wrestling sensation of India, will be at the 4th Asian Kho Kho Championship in Tamulpur, BTR to cheer on the players! Her support and encouragement will undoubtedly inspire the athletes to give their all.”

However, it is not yet known which day Phogat will attend the championship.

Starting on Monday, the Kho Kho Federation of India will host the 4th Asian Kho Kho Championship (Men and Women) at Tamulpur.

The event will feature up to 400 athletes from at least 14 nations.

The countries are- India, Bangladesh, Bhutan, Indonesia, Iran, Iraq, Malaysia, Nepal, Pakistan, Singapore, South Korea, United Arab Emirates, Azerbaijan, and Sri Lanka.

The contest will take place from March 20 to 23.

It is to be noted that for the championship, more than Rs 4 crore has been allotted.
