Mumbai: Bollywood Superstar Shah Rukh Khan has always mentioned that his daughter Suhana Khan wants to act in movies and seems like the time has come for her as she is ready to make her debut in Zoya Akhtar’s adaption of Archie Comics and the preparations for her debut has already begun.

“Zoya has been working on the Indian adaptation of the International comic book, Archie, for the digital giant, Netflix. It’s a teenage story and she has been on the lookout to get multiple young actors on board to play a bunch of friends. While casting is still underway, she has found one of her central characters in Shah Rukh Khan’s daughter, Suhana. While Suhana has done a couple of short films before, Archie would mark her official foray into the world of show-biz. It’s in the nascent stage at the moment, and the final paperwork will be done once Suhana and her father, Shah Rukh Khan okay the bound script for launch,” a source was quoted as saying by Pinkvilla

Along with Suhana, two others will debut in Zoya’s digital release though the shooting schedules of the digital release are yet to be revealed.

Suhana has previously acted in a short film named The Grey Part of Blue directed by Theodore Gimen which received a positive response on Social Media.

On the other hand, Shah Rukh Khan is shooting for his upcoming movie Pathan which also stars John Abraham and Deepika Padukone which is directed by Siddharth Anand.

Right after Pathan, he moves to his next with South Director Atlee and also has Rajkumar Hirani’s movie in his kitty.
