The incident occurred at the residence of a retired CRPF officer

Digital Desk: In a swift and successful operation,  Basistha police arrested four suspected robbers following their robbery at Heights Apartment in Noonmati area of  Guwahati on the night of  18th  April.  The robbers forcefully accessed the house of retired CRPF officer Neijlam Mishar to steal valuable items. 

Lokman Ali, Sadek Ali, Nur Uddin, and Shariful Islam Dewan have been officially identified as the individuals who were arrested. The police arrested them from different areas of Dhekiajuli through CCTV images showing their faces and activities during the robbery.

The police recovered a significant haul from the gang, including:-

Police recovered 1 gold chain, 4 gold earrings, 3 small gold chains and 1 gold ring and 1,000 rupees in cash and 2 screwdrivers and 3 mobile phones as well and a Tata vehicle that served as the robbery vehicle with the registration number AS01FT1904.

 The stolen items were recovered from Dalgon in Darrang district, along with various areas within Dhekiajuli under Sonitpur district, were retrieved by officials. Official declarations describe this speedy progress as a substantial achievement that protects the safety of people living in the city.
