The fire destroyed the farm, which housed nearly  1,600 broiler chickens.

Digital Desk: A massive fire broke out in the wee hours of 8th April, in  Sonitpur's, Chariduar region, which lies along the  Assam and Arunachal Pradesh border. The newly established broiler farm at  1 No. Jayantipur village suffered total destruction from flames, which was owned by local entrepreneurs Jungchar Basumatari, Raja Basumatari and Jayant Boroi. 

The farm with 1,600 broiler chickens was entirely destroyed by the fire, and all the chickens lost their lives in the blaze. The broiler farm constructed from bamboo and combustible materials played a role in the rapid spread of the fire, however, the exact reason for the fire still remains unknown.  

The tragic incident has left three young entrepreneurs depressed, destroying all hope for the future. This incident highlights the vulnerability and insufficient safety measures in this region.
