Police from the New York City Department found Trachtenberg unresponsive in her Manhattan residence on Wednesday morning right after 8 a.m. local time because emergency services received a 911 call. EMTs declared her death upon discovering her through her mother at the scene.
The New York Police Department (NYPD) stated that Trachtenberg's passed away from natural causes following their investigation while crime investigators allocate resources to determining her exact cause of death. The police spokesperson announced that the Medical Examiner’s office will establish the reason behind Trachtenberg's passing. Evidence earlier reports stated Trachtenberg struggling with health problems before she passed away from a suspected natural cause.
The actor underwent a liver transplant procedure not long before her passing although official authorities have not yet confirmed its involvement in the death. The family needs space alone during their current challenging period of mourning. The authorities have not disclosed extra information about the case and the investigation remains active.
