New Delhi: The Union Government has announced on Monday the postponement of the NEET- PG exam. It has been cancel for at least four months. No new date has been announced as yet.

The medical personals working more than 100 days in service of Covid-19 will be given priority in the upcoming government recruitments. "Prime Minister Narendra Modi authorizes keys decisions to boost the availability of medical personnel to fight COVID-19. NEET-PG Exam to be postponed for at least 4 months," said Prime Minister's Office.

The Union Government also added that students will also be given at least one month after the announcement of the exam before it is conducted. This will make a large number of qualified doctors for Covid duties. It was also decided to allow the deployment of medical interns in Covid management duties.
