Digital Desk: More than 50,000 Palestinians have been killed in Gaza since the beginning of Israel's war with Hamas, the Palestine Health Ministry said in a statement on Sunday. The ministry also informed that at least 1,13,274 Palestinians were injured due to the war.

The ministry reported 41 more deaths in the past 24 hours, bringing the death toll to 50,021.

The death toll rose as Israel resumed its war with Hamas, marking the end of a two-month ceasefire in Gaza.

One of the deadliest attacks was carried out on March 18 by Israel when more than 400 Palestinians were killed during airstrikes.

Hamas termed the latest attack as a dangerous breach of the ceasefire agreement. Despite their promise to adhere to the ceasefire agreement with Israel in January, the militant group fired its first rocket at Israel since the agreement collapsed.

Israel's Defense Minister vowed to continue its destruction in Gaza unless the Israeli hostages are freed.
