PM Modi returned to New Delhi on Wednesday morning after cutting short his two-day Saudi visit in the wake of the deadly terror attack in Pahalgam. 

Digital Desk: Prime Minister Narendra Modi held a key meeting with External Affairs Minister (EAM) S Jaishankar and National Security Advisor (NSA) Ajit Doval on Wednesday morning in New Delhi after he arrived from Saudi Arabia.

PM Modi returned to New Delhi on Wednesday morning after cutting short his two-day Saudi visit in the wake of the deadly terror attack in Pahalgam. 

He discussed the situation of Pahalgam, Jammu & Kashmir (J&K), after the ghastly terror attack in the Baisaran Valley that took the lives of 28 people, mostly tourists on Tuesday.

After a telephonic conversation with PM Modi, Union Home Minister Amit Shah arrived in Srinagar on Tuesday night.

HM Shah held an urgent security review meeting with J&K's Lieutenant Governor Manoj Sinha. Shah is likely to visit Pahalgam on April 23.

The Home Minister also held a high-level meeting with J&K Chief Minister Omar Abdullah and assessed the current situation.  

Meanwhile, Union Finance Minister Nirmala Sitharaman also cut short her US, and Peru visit in view of the terror attack.
