Parag's current form signals a promising trajectory redefining his role as a vital asset for Rajasthan Royals...

Digital Desk: Rajasthan Royals' Riyan Parag showcased his prowess yet again in the IPL, marking his third half-century with a stunning unbeaten 84 off 45 balls against Delhi Capitals in Jaipur.

Surpassing Shane Watson's record, Parag's innings not only secured his highest T20 score but also propelled RR to a formidable total of 185/5 in 20 overs.

His aggressive gameplay was evident with six sixes and seven fours, including a remarkable 21 runs off the final over bowled by Anrich Nortje. Promoted to No. 4 this season, Parag's consistency shone through, building on his earlier impressive performance of 43 runs against Lucknow Super Giants.

At just 22 years old, the Assam all-rounder's recent form in domestic cricket, highlighted by his leading role in the Syed Mushtaq Ali Trophy 2023, underscores his emerging talent.

Despite his previous IPL seasons' modest averages, Parag's current form signals a promising trajectory, redefining his role as a vital asset for Rajasthan Royals in the ongoing tournament.
