The session is likely to witness the transfer of Parliament's business from the old building to the new one. 

Digital Desk: The government announced on Wednesday that a special discussion on Parliament's 75-year history would begin in the Samvidhan Sabha on the opening day of the five-day session of Parliament that will begin on September 18. The government has also scheduled for consideration and passage during the session a law pertaining to the appointment of the Chief Election Commissioner and other election commissioners.

During the last Monsoon session, the bill was introduced in the Rajya Sabha. On September 18, in addition to conducting formal business like laying of papers, there will be a discussion on "Parliamentary Journey of 75 years starting from Samvidhan Sabha - Achievements, Experiences, Memories and Learnings."

The session is likely to witness the transfer of Parliament's business from the old building to the new one. The Advocates (Amendment) Bill, 2023 and the Press and Registration of Periodicals Bill, 2023, both of which the Rajya Sabha approved on August 3, 2023, are among the other items on the agenda for the Lok Sabha. An official bulletin states that The Post Office Bill, 2023 has also been included in the list of business for the Lok Sabha. On August 10, 2023, the bill was first introduced in the Rajya Sabha.
