Tokyo: It seems a bad day for the Sikkimese archer Tarundeep Rai as he lost the Men’s Individual Archery to Israel Itay Shanny 6-4 in the 1/16 elimination round in the ongoing Tokyo Olympics at Yumenoshima Ranking Field on Wednesday.

After losing the first set, the Indian archer makes a comeback in the second set and makes draw the third set and win the fourth set, but in the fifth set, Rai missed the second shot, and his Israel counterpart used the opportunity and won the match by a score of 28-27.

Before, Rai defeated Ukraine’s Oleksii Hunbin at 6-4 during the day session.
