Both had illegally crossed the international border into India by paying agents approximately ₹4,000–₹5,000 each

Digital Desk: The  Railway Protection Force (RPF) officers stopped two Bangladeshi nationals at the Lumding Railway Junction when they were travelling aboard 13173 Kanchanjungha Express. The names of the two people detained at Lumding Railway Junction are Firoz Shah and Maina Khan.

According to initial reports, two illegal migrants who entered India by paying the agent fees, which amounted to ₹4,000 to ₹5,000 each, were arrested at Lumding Railway Junction. After entering the country, they had been working separately in major Indian cities — one in Delhi and the other in Bengaluru.
After detention, the RPF transferred both of them to Railway Police for additional inquiry. Border authorities will conduct an extensive investigation to understand the criminal scale of illegal immigration and its entire operational structure.

Border security remains at risk due to this incident, while human trafficking agents continue supporting unauthorized immigrants to enter India.
