According to the official tweet, "Budget Session, 2023 of Parliament will commence from 31 January and continue till 6 April with 27 sittings spread over 66 days with usual recess

Digital Desk: Union Minister Pralhad Joshi announced that the Budget session of Parliament will commence on January 31, 2023, and end on April 6, 2023. As in past years, there will be 27 sittings spread over 66 days, with regular respite in between.

According to the official tweet, "Budget Session, 2023 of Parliament will commence from 31 January and continue till 6 April with 27 sittings spread over 66 days with usual recess. Amid Amrit Kaal looking forward to discussions on Motion of Thanks on the President’s Address, Union Budget & other items."

In addition, the minister stated that the recess for the Budget session 2023-24 will be from February 14 to March 12, 2023. During this time, the department associated with the Parliamentary Standing Committees will examine and evaluate grant requests. It will also create reports for numerous ministries and departments.

Finance Minister Nirmala Sitharaman will introduce the Union Budget 2023-24 on February 1, 2023. The Budget, like the previous year, is anticipated to be presented electronically this year. Before the official Budget preparations began, the Finance Minister met with a number of industry executives and experts to solicit their views as part of pre-budget discussions.
