According to reports, Delhi Assembly polls recorded a voting turnout of 57.70% till 5 pm on Wednesday. The counting of votes will be commenced on February 8.


Digital Desk: Most exit polls on Wednesday have predicted that the Bhartiya Janata Party (BJP) is likely to end its 27-year drought and lotus to bloom in the national capital Delhi. At the same time, the ruling party Aam Aadmi Party (AAP) will fail to emerge victorious. Congress, which ruled Delhi for 15 years, is projected to be restricted to 0-3 seats in Delhi.


P-Marq exit poll suggested a majority for the BJP. The agency gave 39-39 assembly constituencies to BJP, while AAP is likely to get 21-31 seats and Congress 0-1 seat.


According to Matrize exit poll, it was a close contest between the BJP and AAP. It predicted that the BJP will get 35-40 seats, while AAP to get 32-37 seats. It also predicted a single seat for Congress.


Peoples Pulse exit poll predicted that BJP will emerge triumphant in 40-44 seats and AAP in 25-29 seats. It said that Congress can win 0-1 seat.


JVC exit poll said that BJP is likely to get 39-45 seats, AAP 22-31 seats and Congress 0-2 seats.

Chanakya Strategies said that BJP will win 39-44 seats, AAP to get 25-28 seats, and Congress 2-3 seats.


According to Poll Dairy exit polls, BJP will conquer 42-50 seats, AAP 18-25 seats and Congress 0-2 seats.


WeePreside exit poll predicted AAP to be victorious with 46-52 seats, while BJP will follow with 18-23 seats and Congress will win 0-1 seat.
