    According to sources, Adil Hussain, an
    internationally recognized actor from Assam, was honoured with the Best Actor
    Award at the Ottawa Indian Film Festival (OIFF) in Canada for his film
    'Footprints on Water'.

    his role in the critically acclaimed film.



    color:black">After winning the award, the Assamese-born actor praised the
    festival and acknowledged the film's director, Nathalia Syam, writer Neetha
    Syam, and producer Mohaan Nadaar for their contributions, which led to him
    receiving the award for his performance.



    "Decorated Assamese thespian Adil Hussain wins the Best Actor award
    for his strong, emphatic turn as a father on the verge of financial and family
