In an exclusive interview with renowned entertainment journalist Siddharth Kannan, 'Jawan' director Atlee dropped hints that the dream project involving Shah Rukh Khan and Vijay might not be a distant fantasy. However, Atlee shared exciting details about the potential collaboration between the two iconic actors. "Vijay sir and Shah Rukh sir, both said the same thing: 'Bring a script, and we will work together.' I thought they were just pulling my leg as a birthday gift," Atlee revealed. He went on to recount a memorable conversation where Vijay expressed genuine interest, with Shah Rukh Khan chiming in enthusiastically. "Sir, you are serious about this, na? We will make a film together, right?" Shah Rukh Khan reportedly asked.

Atlee affirmed his dedication to the project, saying, "So, yes, every now and then, they inquire about it and ask me whether I am seriously working on it or not, or if I am taking it as a joke. So, I am definitely, seriously working on it and I am hoping for it to crack someday."

'Jawan,' Shah Rukh Khan and Atlee's maiden collaboration, has rewritten the rules of box office success. The film has stormed into the illustrious ₹800 crore club worldwide, with its Indian earnings set to cross the ₹500 crore mark.
