Digital Desk: Bollywood actor Kangana Ranaut, known for making controversial remarks on social media, has done it again. Kangana took to Twitter to hail Uttar Pradesh chief minister Yogi Adityanath for his recent remark, "mitti me mila dunga (reduce to dust)" in the state assembly. This followed after Atiq Ahmed's son Asad and an associate, both accused in a murder case, were killed in an encounter with police. "No one like my Bhaiya @myogiadityanath," the actress wrote in the post. Kangana also included a video of the CM's statement in her tweet, however, it is no longer available.
The actress's post drew an extensive range of reactions from users. Moreover, some users hailed Kangana and Yogi Adityanath with emojis.
On February 25, Yogi Adityanath criticised the Samajwadi Party for aiding criminal gangs and promised to eradicate them. The chief minister stated in front of the assembly, "Is it true that the Samajwadi Party has elected the mafioso whose name is appearing as an MP? He was a mafioso that the SP fostered. Our government is doing everything it can to break their back. Mitti me mila denge."
On the work front, Kangana most recently starred in Dhaakad (2022). She played the role of agent Agni, who is tasked with gathering intelligence and neutralising Rudraveer. Rudraveer is a renowned worldwide human and weapon trafficker who has eluded arrest for almost a decade.
Kangana will also play the role of former Indian Prime Minister Indira Gandhi in her next flick, Emergency. The plot is based on Indira Gandhi's announcement of a state of emergency in the country from 1975 to 1977.
