No Time to Die, a James Bond film starring Daniel Craig and produced by Namit Malhotra's DNEG, was indeed nominated for its visual effects.
Digital Desk: The London-based visual effects and animation DNEG, whose CEO is Indian-origin Namit Malhotra, is one of the companies behind the film's VFX. He is the grandson of cinematographer MN Malhotra and the son of Bollywood film producer Naresh Malhotra.
At the Academy Awards 2022, Denis Villeneuve's science-fiction epic Dune received numerous awards. The Best Visual Effects Oscar was one of them.
DNEG was responsible for the visual effects of No Time to Die, a James Bond film starring Daniel Craig, and it was got selected in this category. In addition, inception, Interstellar, Ex Machina, Blade Runner 2049, First Man, and Tenet are among the company's previous Academy Award winners.
Namit Malhotra has already mentioned the nominations in an interview with News18. "It's a great feeling," he remarked. It's the first time in a long time that a James Bond film has been nominated in this category.

On the other hand, Dune has set a new standard for visual effects in cinema. Dune is based on Frank Herbert's famous science fiction novel of the same name. The picture featured a brilliant cast of actors. The film starred Timothée Chalamet, Rebecca Ferguson, Oscar Isaac, Josh Brolin, Stellan Skarsgrd, David Bautista, Stephen McKinley Henderson, Zendaya, David Dastmalchian, Chang Chen, Sharon Duncan-Brewster, Charlotte Rampling, Jason Momoa, and Javier Bardem.
