Digital Desk: Ram Setu, starring Akshay Kumar as archaeologist Dr. Aryan Kulshrestha, was released in theatres on October 25 to mixed reviews from both audiences and reviewers. For those who were unable to see the film in theatres, here are the streaming details.
The action-adventure thriller is now accessible on Amazon Prime Video, as the OTT giant revealed on its social media accounts with the phrase, "a search for truth hidden in the pages of history! Ram Setu is now available for rent on #PrimeVideoStore."
Ram Setu, which also stars Jacqueline Fernandez, Nushratt Bharuccha, Satya Dev, and Nassar, is directed by Abhishek Sharma, who has previously directed films like Tere Bin Laden, Tere Bin Laden: Dead or Alive, and Parmanu: The Story of Pokhran.
Dr. Chandraprakash Dwivedi, who directed Akshay in the historical drama Samrat Prithviraj earlier this year, is the film's creative producer. At the box office, Ram Setu competed with the comedic flick Thank God. The latter, directed by Indra Kumar, starred Ajay Devgn, Sidharth Malhotra, and Rakul Preet Singh in lead parts.
After Bachchhan Paandey, Samrat Prithviraj, Raksha Bandhan, and Cuttputlli, Ram Setu was Akshay Kumar's fifth film of the year. Among the upcoming films for the actor are the Hindi remake of Soorarai Pottru, OMG 2, Bade Miyan Chote Miyan, Capsule Gill, and Jolly LLB 3. Meanwhile, the Khiladi actor recently declared that he will not be appearing in Hera Pheri 3 due to creative issues with the film's creators. Kartik Aaryan will join the comedy franchise, according to Paresh Rawal, who verified the news on Twitter. Suniel Shetty stated that Kartik's character will be a new addition to the threequel and will not replace Akshay's character
