Kolkata: Internet sensation queen Ranu Mondal after winning hearts in the Bollywood industry is now all set to try her luck in the Bangladeshi film industry.
Reportedly, Mondal who rose to fame after her rendition of Lata Mangeshkar’s iconic song ‘Ek Pyaar Ka Nagma Hai’ in 2019 will now sing two songs for Bangladeshi film which are being produced by Bangladeshi social media star Ashraful Alom Saeed aka Hero Alom.

Hero Alom confirming the deal with Ranu Mondal shared a snippet from his virtual conversation with Ranu Mondal along with a video on his Facebook page.
The Bangladeshi star informed that he had connected with Ranu Mondal through an agent in Kolkata. Later, when he shared his lyrics with her she accepted the proposal and will start recording soon.
As per reports, the film will hit the floor on November 20 of this year.
Ranu Mondal who hailed from Begopara, West Bengal went viral in no time while singing at the Ranaghat railway station in West Bengal in 2019. Soon after receiving appreciation for her impeccable singing skills she was invited to make an appearance in a singing reality show where Himesh Reshammiya requested her to sing for his film Bollywood film ‘Happy Hardy and Heer’.
A biopic titled ‘Miss Ranu Maria’ based on the life of Ranu Mondal is in the process. The film is directed by Hrishikesh Mondal and actress Eshika Dey will be in the titular role.
