    Salman Khan lands in trouble again!! Court issues summon for misbehaving with Journalist

    Salman Khan, according to Pandey, became enraged and ordered his bodyguard to bash him. He also stated that his phone had been stolen.


    Digital Desk: In connection with their alleged misbehaviour with a journalist, Bollywood actor Salman Khan and his bodyguard have been summoned by the Andheri Magistrate Court.

    In a petition filed in 2019 by journalist Ashok Pandey, the Magistrate court has summoned Salman to appear on April 5. According to ANI, the actor has been charged under IPC sections 504 (intentional insult with purpose to incite a breach of peace) and 506 (intentional insult with intent to provoke a breach of peace) (criminal intimidation).

    Ashok Pandey, a journalist, claims that he and a cameraperson attempted to capture Khan when he was riding in April 2019. The journalist stated that he had authorization from the actor's bodyguards to videotape him. Salman Khan, according to Pandey, became enraged and ordered his bodyguard to bash him. He also stated that his phone had been stolen.

    The journalist further stated that when he went to the DN Nagar police station, his appeal was dismissed by the officers, who stated that no offence was committed.

    "The matter was referred to D N Nagar police station for investigation under section 202 of CrPC (Postponement of issue of the process), the police have informed that the offences under section 504 and 506 of the Indian Penal Code are made out against accused persons," the magistrate, R R Khan said.

    According to the magistrate, the summons were issued based on "self-speaking material on record, positive police report, and other record information," according to the magistrate. According to him, the prima facie substance of the allegations in the complaint is sufficient to sustain the claim, and the proceedings are thus valid.

    The court has now begun a procedure in the case, after significant delay due to COVID-19. Ashok Pandey expressed his delight that the court had taken notice of his complaint.
