Kangana Ranaut announced on Instagram that Mahima Chaudhry will play Indian author Pupul Jayakar in her upcoming film Emergency.

Digital Desk: On Saturday, Kangana Ranaut revealed on Instagram that Mahima Chaudhry will play Indian writer Pupul Jayakar in her upcoming film Emergency.

Kangana revealed the first look and shared the poster, writing, "Presenting @mahimachaudhry1 as the one who witnessed it all, and wrote for the world to see the Iron Lady up, close and personal. # PupulJayakar Friend, Author, and Confidante. # Urgency.

Kangana Ranaut recently confirmed that Shreyas Talpade will play Atal Bihari Vajpayee, India's former Prime Minister, in her next film, Emergency. Kangana Ranaut previously posted Anupam Kher's first look from her film Emergency on social media. The actress disclosed that he will play Jayaprakash Narayan in the film by sharing the poster.
