She stated that she won’t be going out as much to avoid paparazzi photographers and that the pregnancy would most likely be difficult because she had previously experienced post-natal depression.
Meanwhile, Sam also took to social media to express his joy at the news. The fitness trainer shared a lion and a lioness artwork with their cub on his Instagram account. “Marriage and kids are a natural part of a strong relationship filled with love and respect. I have always looked forward to Fatherhood and I don’t take it lightly. It is the most important job I will ever do,” the caption reads.
Reportedly, Britney and Sam met on the set of her music video for Slumber Party six years ago. Following the completion of the shoot, the two began dating and were engaged in September last year. She frequently refers to him as her “husband in her social media posts.”
Britney revealed her desire to marry and have a child during her conservatorship legal battle last year, but she testified that her conservators would not allow her to stop using birth control. Her conservator and father, Jamie Spears, has maintained that all of his actions were in his daughter’s best interests.
Britney’s conservatorship was eventually terminated in November 2021, giving her control over her life for the first time in 13 years.
