Talking about the work front, Esha has worked in films such as 'Chakravyuh,' 'Raaz 3D,' 'Rustom,' and 'Baadshaho.'
Digital Desk: Esha Gupta, who made her Bollywood debut in 2012 with the film 'Jannat 2,' has disclosed her struggles in her early days in the film industry. The 36-year-old actress, who is presently starring in the online series 'Aashram 3,' stated that she was encouraged to get injections for fairer skin colour and that even she tried to search the cost at that time.
Esha, who has made a name for herself in the entertainment world and continues collaborating with top actors and directors, recounted the days when she was asked about her skin tone.
In an interview with Prabhat Khabar, she disclosed, "During the beginning of my career, I was recommended to get my nose sharpened. The person told me that my nose was round. People had also encouraged me to have injections for fair skin a long time ago, and I had gotten carried away for a while. So I checked the cost of such an injection and discovered that it would cost Rs 9000. I'm not going to name them, but many of our actresses have fair skin because of the treatment."
"Actresses are under a lot of pressure to look beautiful. I would never want my daughter to pursue a career as an actress because she would be subjected to the pressure of being attractive from a young age. She will be unable to live her life like a normal person. I would like her to become an athlete as she wouldn't have to study as much," she added.
Talking about the work front, Esha has worked in films such as 'Chakravyuh,' 'Raaz 3D,' 'Rustom,' and 'Baadshaho.' On the silver screen, she was seen last in 2019 in the film 'Total Dhamaal' and 'One Day Justice Delivered.'
