opened up about her battle with cancer and shared details about her treatment.
She also shared how her daughter, Aryana, stood beside her like a pillar
throughout the process. The actress revealed she did not tell her parents about
her battle with cancer until her treatment was over.

Chaudhry opened up about her cancer journey and revealed how challenging the
entire phase was. She shared that she was diagnosed with cancer in 2021, and
her treatment lasted four months. The actress shared that she's recovered
completely; the actress said. Further in the interview, Mahima stated
that she had her friends and family by her side while she was undergoing
treatment. However, the actress revealed that she did not tell her parents
about her disease as it would have been unbearable for them. My
friends knew, but not my parents. My mother was there for me when I told her I
had had surgery, but she didn't know what it was for. In the same interview, the actress
expressed her gratitude to her daughter as she took great care of her
throughout the process and used to feed her every day. However, Mahima revealed
that she did not want her baby girl to see her like that, so she used to put on
an act in front of her.
When you are feeling low and lying
down, you just want your mother to hold you and tell you, "Beta thodasa
khalo." because you cannot even eat a morsel. At that time, it was my
daughter who did that for me. Even if it was a small piece of bread, she would
say, "Mama, just put it in your mouth." If my child told me to eat, I
would still eat it even if I couldn't. I wanted her to feel that I was fine and
