Digital Desk: After spending 15 days in the hospital, comedian and renowned celebrity Raju Srivastava has regained consciousness today (August 25). The comedian is being monitored by physicians at AIIMS Delhi.
According to his personal secretary, Garvit Narang, Raju is being monitored by physicians at AIIMS Delhi, and his health is improving.

Earlier, Dipoo Srivastava, the brother of Raju, had denied the rumours that the comedian had been taken off the ventilator. He stated, "It (the news that Raju Srivastava would be removed off the ventilator) is not true. Raju Ji is stable, and doctors are treating him to the best of their abilities. I kindly ask his followers to pray for him as we anticipate some positive news shortly. As per doctors, he will recover."
Earlier, the comedian's relatives told the media that he is receiving good care from the doctors and that they are optimistic about his recovery. Further, they claimed that Raju is now stable and that doctors are monitoring him.
However, Raju's family has breathed a sigh of relief as he has regained consciousness. Earlier, a source close to the comedian said that he was brain dead. However, Raju's brother Dipoo made a public statement through a video message, saying, "He is a fighter and will soon come back, winning the battle and will entertain everyone with his humour."
Raju, who also serves as the president of the Film Vikas Parishad in Uttar Pradesh, was taken to the hospital on August 10 after he reportedly had a heart attack while on the treadmill. After having angioplasty, he spent 15 days in the hospital.
