Digital Desk: Uorfi Javed was recently seen in the music video 'Haye Haye Yeh Majboori,' a remake of the iconic Zeenat Aman song. Uorfi's look in the song also caused quite a stir on social media. Now, it's being reported that the well-known actress and content creator is in legal trouble for distributing "sexually explicit" material due to her outfit choices in the video.
Reportedly, an unidentified person in Delhi filed a complaint about Uorfi's outfits in the music video featuring her. In the video, Uorfi can be seen dancing in the rain while wearing an orange sari accompanied by the backup dancers. As per reports, the complaint was made for 'posting or conveying content comprising sexually explicit acts in electronic form.' Other information about the complaint is not yet known.
Moreover, Uorfi is yet to make a statement on the matter.
'Haye Haye Ye Majboori' was released on October 11 and has garnered over 8 lakh views on the streaming platform YouTube. Uorfi's outfits always create quite a stir, and this time as well in her music video appearance.
The reprised version of 'Haye Hay...' has been sung by Shruti Rane with music by Gourov Dasgupta. The original song was sung by Lata Mangeshkar and was composed by Laxmikant Pyarelal. Legendary actress Zeenat Aman starred in the original 'Haye Haye Yeh Majboori' song from the 1974 film "Roti Kapda and Makaan."
Meanwhile, Uorfi was recently spotted in Mumbai delivering Diwali sweets. She was spotted wearing a burgundy tube suit and a netted dupatta. When it comes to her looks, Uorfi's followers are split because of her daring and unconventional fashion choices.
