    Coronavirus updates: Delhi reports 632 new covid-19 cases, DDMA to meet today

    According to the data, the positivity rate was 2.70 percent on April 11, but it soared to 3.95 percent on April 15, followed by 5.33 percent on April 16 and 7.72 percent on April 18.


    Digital Desk: Following a gradual increase in Covid-19 infections, Delhi has now recorded 632 new Covid-19 cases, a 26 percent higher compared to the previous day, with no deaths in the recent 24 hours.


    According to the recent data, "Delhi reported 632 new Covid-19 cases, 414 recoveries, and zero deaths in the last 24 hours."


    Since yesterday, the number of cases in Delhi has increased by 26% to 632. The percentage of confirmed cases per 100 tests that are positive has declined from 7.72 percent yesterday to 4.42 percent today.


    Following a steady decline in Covid cases, Delhi has seen a surge in new cases. According to data from the Delhi Health Department, the positive rate nearly doubled between April 11 and 18.

    Covid- 19 infections have flared up across the country, with Delhi-NCR posing the greatest threat. Notably, compared to other parts of the country, the number of cases in Delhi-NCR has risen quickly in recent days.


    Meanwhile, the Delhi Disaster Management Authority (DDMA) will meet on April 20 as the number of Covid-19 cases in the national capital rises significantly. There will most likely be a discussion about putting additional limits.


    So far, no restrictions have been placed on the Covid-19 Graded Response Action Plan (GRAPE). When GRAPE has a 0.5 percent infection rate, there is a possibility to begin imposing limits.
