According to data released by the Union Health Ministry on Saturday (May 14), the country witnessed 3,355 discharges in the past 24 hours, bringing the total recovery rate to roughly 98.74 per cent and total recoveries to 4,25,76,815.
The number of active Covid-19 cases in India has decreased to 18,096. There were 18,604 active cases registered yesterday, as per the data released by the ministry.

On Thursday, the city had 1,032 new Covid-19 cases with zero deaths and a positive rate of 3.64 per cent. With the new cases, the total number of Covid cases in the national capital has risen to 18,99,072, with a mortality toll of 26,188.
On Wednesday, Delhi had 970 new Covid cases with a positive rate of 3.34 per cent and one death.
