Digital Desk: The Nepal Embassy in Israel confirmed on Sunday that at least 10 Nepali students have died in the continuing invasion by Hamas terrorists against Israel.

According to a Nepalese Embassy official in Israel, quoted by the news agency ANI, "Roughly 10 Nepali students died in the ongoing situation in Israel."

After the recent terrorist incident by Hamas in Israel, Nepal is concerned about casualties. According to sources, the Himalayan Nation has set up a mechanism to oversee the situation in Israel.

Speaking at the House of Representatives on Sunday, Nepal's foreign minister NP Saud stated, “There are a total of 4500 Nepali as caregivers, and a total of 265 Nepali students are in Israel under the government-initiated 'Learn and Earn' program. Out of them, 121 are from Nepal's Agriculture University, 97 from Tribhuvan University, and 49 from Sudurpaschim University.”

He added that the Nepal government has developed a framework to monitor the development and has been closely monitoring the events as they unfold.

Meanwhile, the Gaza Strip's health ministry, which is operated by Hamas, has confirmed the death toll, reporting that 313 Palestinians have died there while 1,990 more have been injured.

Israel's retaliatory strikes in the Gaza Strip were the primary cause of the deaths. The Times of Israel quoted IDF spokesman Daniel Hagari as saying that searches for Hamas terrorists were ongoing in many encircled cities and that more than 400 terrorists had been killed inside Gaza while dozens more were being held captive.
