Digital Desk: A political talk show in Pakistan took an unexpected turn when a heated debate between two leaders escalated into a physical altercation. The incident took place on Javed Chaudhary's well-known Pakistani talk show "Kal Tak," which has now gone viral.

The two politicians involved were Sher Afzal Marwat, a lawyer associated with Imran Khan's Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI), and Afnan Ullah, a senator associated with Nawaz Sharif's Pakistan Muslim League-Nawaz (PML-N). When Senator Afnan Ullah Khan leveled accusations against PTI leader Imran Khan, accusing him of misbehavior and covert discussions with the military establishment, the verbal sparring quickly got out of control.

Instead of countering arguments, Marwat used physical force to strike Khan in the head in return. Khan's retaliation caused the situation to worsen even more and a full-fledged fistfight to break out on live television. The host and crew of the show tried to break up the fight, but it went on anyhow, shocking spectators and the country.

Both politicians used social media to explain their actions after the incident. Marwat cited Afnan Ullah's disparaging remarks against PTI leader Imran Khan as justification for his violent retaliation.

On the other hand, Senator Afnan Ullah Khan declared his support for nonviolence while defending his activities as a supporter of Nawaz Sharif. "Despite my belief in non-violence and the fact that I am a Nawaz Sharif soldier, Marwat attacked me at a talk show yesterday. All PTI members, but notably Imran Khan, should learn from the trick played on Marwat since it will require them to wear large, black glasses to perceive the shape," he wrote.

The incident spread criticism online, with many criticizing the host and "Kal Tak" team members for failing to prevent the violence.
