    Dhaka Awaits Delhi's Response For Yunus-Modi Meeting
    The relations between India and Bangladesh could be resolved  if the bilateral meeting is held between Yunus and Modi.

    Digital Desk: Dhaka is waiting  for Delhi’s response for  the planned bilateral meeting of Chief Adviser Prof Muhammad Yunus with Indian Prime Minister Narendra Modi, who will attend the BIMSTEC summit in Bangkok.

    The Bangladesh government officially communicated its interest about holding a meeting between Prof Muhammad Yunus and Indian Prime Minister Narendra Modi. Foreign Secretary Jashim Uddin announced at a foreign ministry briefing that India has not responded regarding the proposed meeting between Chief Adviser Prof Muhammad Yunus and Indian Prime Minister Narendra Modi.

    The tension between India and Bangladesh will fade if Professor Yunus and Prime Minister Modi conduct a bilateral meeting, according to Foreign Secretary Jashim Uddin.

    Bangladesh officially requested India to meet for a meeting with  their prime minister during this bilateral  visit
    Yunus will be attending the BIMSTEC summit in Bangkok for  between 2nd  April and 4th April. 

    Indian External Affairs Minister S Jaishankar expressed that India was considering  the possibility of Modi and Yunus meeting  but has not confirmed it yet.
