Russia strikes again: Attacks on civilian targets.

Digital desk: Russia bombed several cities in Ukraine on
Monday, including its capital Kyiv. Numerous civilian targets were hit, and
infrastructure has been damaged. People’s Friendship Arch, the site symbolizing
a monument dedicated to the friendship between Russia and Ukraine, has also been
attacked. This attack comes from Russia after weeks of setbacks.

Kyiv had not faced such intense missile attacks since the
early weeks of the war. Civilian properties and infrastructure have been
damaged in all the attacks and apartment buildings have seen window glass blown
off and water and electricity supplies cut. As per the report, there were
explosions in Zhytomyr in Ukraine’s west, Dnipro and Kremenchuk in central
Ukraine, and Zaporizhzhia in the south. Energy infrastructure was hit in Lviv.

    Ukraine’s Estimation:

President Volodymyr Zelensky said, "They are trying to
destroy us and wipe us off the face of the Earth." The air-raid sirens do
not subside throughout Ukraine. There are missiles hitting.
"Unfortunately, there are dead and wounded."

Ukraine’s senior-most general said the country's forces shot
down at least 41 missiles that were fired at Ukraine by Russia.

    What Russia has to say?

This attack is being seen as a revenge attack for an
explosion that took place on a bridge connecting Russia and Crimea on October
    9. Putin calls the Kerch Bridge attack "a terrorist act" by Kyiv.
However, Ukraine evades responsibility for the attack.
