Heineken, a beer brand, recognized the job and created beer-filled shoes. It's true what you read. The footwear, known as "Heinekicks," will make you feel like you are "walking on beer." And no, we are not kidding.
Heineken partnered with well-known shoe designer Dominic Ciambrone, also known as the "shoe surgeon." According to the manufacturer, the sneakers are intended to celebrate the smoothness of Heineken Silver. The lace-up sneakers have green, red, and silver accents that match the hues on Heineken Silver bottles. Each pair also includes a metal bottle opener.
The soles of the shoes are filled with actual beer. Don't trust us? Look at this.
The surprising news was announced by Heineken on Twitter. "Beer for your sole Designed in collaboration with noted shoe designer, Dominic Ciambrone, to celebrate the smoothness of Heineken Silver. Heinekicks aren't your everyday shoe, but it’s not every day you get to walk on beer," reads the caption of the post.
Netizens were intrigued and expressed their thoughts in the comments area. Some people also wanted to buy a pair.
"These are awesome," a user wrote.
Another user wrote, "How do I get them? I would like a pair."
According to Ad Week, there will be a total of 32 pairs of Heinekicks. Seven of them will be on display later this year in Singapore.
