    Digital Desk: A 59-year-old Malad woman paid a high price for pitying a monkey and giving it a cracker, when the money attacked her face, requiring 10 stitches. According to residents of Appapada in Malad East, on the fringes of Sanjay Gandhi National Park, the monkey recently lost its infant and has started attacking people regularly.

    The Malad woman named, Saroj Shukla was at her ice cream and soda business on Thursday afternoon when the latest incident occurred. According to witnesses, the monkey came in and sat on the ice-cream fridge, after which Shukla fed it cookies.
