Digital Desk: The ancient city of Ayodhya is set to witness a historic event on January 22, 2024, as Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath confirms the arrival of 100 chartered planes at the recently inaugurated Maharishi Valmiki International Airport.

This surge in air traffic is in anticipation of the 'Pran Pratishtha' ceremony at the Ram Mandir, a monumental occasion marking the installation of the idol of Ram Lalla in the grand temple.

Since its commencement on December 30, 2023, the Ayodhya airport is gearing up to showcase its operational prowess, with the initiation of tri-weekly flights between Ahmedabad and Ayodhya by Union Civil Aviation Minister Jyotiraditya Scindia and Union Minister VK Singh, symbolizing the city's enhanced connectivity.

In anticipation of the influx of visitors for the ceremony, Ayodhya has implemented extensive security measures. Police patrols are intensifying across the city, and stringent verification procedures are in place for external individuals. An Anti-Drone System, monitored by the Special Security Force (SSF), is in a position to counter potential aerial threats. Access to the event is limited to those invited by the Shri Ram Janmabhoomi Teerth Kshetra Trust from January 20 to 22, with well-planned road and train arrangements to facilitate movement.

To ensure the well-being of attendees, a tent city equipped with a primary hospital boasting 10 beds has been established, accompanied by rigorous cleanliness measures. Vedic rituals for the Pran-Pratishtha ceremony will commence on January 16, culminating in the main event on January 22, where priest Lakshmi Kant Dixit from Varanasi will lead the significant rituals.

Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath, emphasizing the significance of cleanliness, has directed officials to implement the 'Kumbh model of cleanliness' in Ayodhya. Dust-free roads and daily-cleaned toilets are imperative to maintain the city's beauty.

Notably, the Amrit Mahotsav, spanning from January 14 to January 22, will coincide with the celebrations, with Prime Minister Narendra Modi expected to attend the idol installation, adding a momentous touch to this historic occasion.
