Digital Desk: In a late-night merged operation by the Delhi Crime Branch and Rajasthan Police, two gunmen and one associate involved in the murder of Rashtriya Rajput Karni Sena chief Sukhdev Singh Gogamedi were apprehended in Chandigarh.

Police apprehended the two shooters, Rohit Rathore and Nitin Fauji, as well as a third suspect named Udham. Officials are investigating Udham's involvement in Gogamedi's murder.

Rohit and Udham were transported to Delhi by the Delhi Police, while Nitin Fauji remains in the custody of the Rajasthan Police. Previously, authorities declared a Rs 5 lakh cash prize for information leading to their arrest.

According to authorities, after the murder, the suspects hid their weapons and travelled from Rajasthan to Hisar in Haryana. They then travelled to Manali, Himachal Pradesh. They later returned to Chandigarh, where they were arrested.

The shooters were tracked down by police using their cell phone locations.

Dinesh MN, the Special Investigation Team (SIT) leader, confirmed the late-night operation to India Today TV.

"Their questioning has already begun. "They will be arrested tomorrow and brought to court on Monday," ADG Dinesh stated.

The gunmen, according to the police, were in contact with Godara's close aides Virendra Chahan and Danaram, on whose orders the murder was carried out.
