BJP counters Lalu Yadav’s ‘no family’ remark with ‘Modi ka Parivar’ campaign

Those who have no one, also belong to Modi and Modi belongs to them.....

Digital desk: Prime Minister Narendra Modi while addressing a political rally in Telangana state in Hyderabad, slammed opposition politician Lalu Yadav who claimed on Sunday that Modi doesn't understand a family unit's hardships. Lalu Yadav said that PM Modi often attacks the opposition over “Parivarvad” since he has no family.

Yadav asked, “What can we do if Narendra Modi does not have a family of his own?” He also questioned his Hindu religion, claiming the PM didn’t sacrifice his hair when his mother died in 2022.

Responding to Lalu Yadav’s remarks, Prime Minister Modi said that 140 crore countrymen were his family.

“Today, crores of daughters, mothers, and sisters of the country are Modi’s family. Every poor person in the country is my family. Those who have no one, also belong to Modi and Modi belongs to them. My India My family, with the expansion of these feelings, I am living for you, fighting for you, and will continue to fight for you, to fulfill my dreams with determination,” PM Modi said in Telangana.

Modi further added, “Tomorrow they can also say that you have never been sentenced to jail, hence you cannot enter politics.” Top BJP leaders, including Union Home Minister Amit Shah and party president JP Nadda, added "Modi ka parivar" to their X handles today.
