Digital Desk: According to the latest updates on the Election Commission (EC) website, the BJP is currently leading in all seven Lok Sabha seats in Delhi on Tuesday.
In the Chandni Chowk constituency, BJP's Praveen Khandelwal initially trailed behind the Congress' Jai Prakash Agarwal. However, he has now surged ahead, securing a lead of 27,041 votes, as per EC data.
In North-East Delhi, BJP's candidate Manoj Tiwari, competing against Congress' Kanhaiya Kumar, is leading by a significant margin of 73,781 votes.
Similarly, BJP's Kamaljeet Sehrawat in West Delhi, facing AAP's Mahabal Mishra, is leading by a margin of 69,296 votes. In North-West Delhi, BJP's Yogender Chandoliya is ahead by a substantial lead of 1,05,266 votes against Congress' Udit Raj, according to the data.
In East Delhi, AAP's Kuldeep Kumar is currently trailing by 14,134 votes against BJP's Harsh Malhotra.
In South Delhi, BJP's Ramvir Singh Bidhuri is leading by 63,675 votes against AAP's Sahi Ram Pahalwan. Meanwhile, in the New Delhi constituency, BJP's Bansuri Swaraj, daughter of the late veteran leader Sushma Swaraj, is leading by a margin of 27,136 votes.
The BJP is engaged in a direct contest with the Congress-AAP alliance in the national capital. The party had previously secured victory in all seven seats in Delhi in both the 2014 and 2019 general elections.
