Digital Desk: A book on highlighting the PM Modi's leadership efforts in India's fight against COVID-19 pandemic in the past two years is set to be released on Friday.
The book titled "A Nation To Protect" is writer Priyam Gandhi Mody's third book. Priyam commented on her book, "I have gone ahead and noted those individuals in the media and political leaders who did not fail to challenge India's political leadership and even the government's intent to protect its people."
"I had asked Prime Minister Narendra Modi what motivates him and why his spirits did not go down despite the ups and downs, including discouraging comments coming in from various sections," Priyam Gandhi recalled when asked why she chose "A Nation To Protect" as the title for the book.
"Looking at the circumstances at the time, PM Modi explained to me that it was fantastic to see people respond to his call for a 'janata curfew' and stay at home," PM Modi stated.
"Prime Minister Modi stated that his inspiration came from the people of the country and that it was a country to safeguard, which is where the book's title originated from."
Union Health Minister Mansukh Mandaviya will launch the book on Friday afternoon in the presence of other senior health ministry officials.
Another individual who seems laboriously in Priyam's book is Mansukh Mandaviya, who acted as the Fertilizers Minister during the second wave of COVID-19 when India struggled to get necessary medications, including Remedisvir.
