The Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE) Class 12 results will be announced today at 2 pm. CBSE class 12th results will be available on the board's official website, cbseresults.nic.in. Apart from this, digilocker.gov.in and the DigiLocker app will also host the results. Students would need their roll number to check their result.
CBSE pass certificates, mark sheets, and migration certificates will be available on the DigiLocker platform. Students can download their documents from the app or the website by clicking on ‘CBSE’ under the ‘Education’ section. Notably, the board will issue hard copies of migration certificates only on request. Otherwise, students can download it from DigiLocker.
According to the evaluation policy, the theory paper evaluation formula is 30% weight age to Class 10 marks, 30% weight age to Class 11 marks and 40% weight age to Class 12 marks in unit test/mid-term/pre-board exams.
There will also be an optional exam for CBSE Class 12 students. Those who are not happy with CBSE’s alternative assessment scheme and want to improve their results can take it.
Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE) has announced that the CBSE Board exams for private candidates will be held from August 16, 2021. The CBSE Board will conduct the written exams for private category of students between August 16, 2021, and September 15, 2021, and their result will also be declared in the minimum possible time to avoid any difficulty to them in admission to higher education. "Result of private candidates cannot be prepared without conducting exams as neither schools nor board has assessment records," said CBSE Board.
After CBSE Class 12 results, universities will start the undergraduate admission process. The University Grants Commission in its 2021-22 guidelines said the universities will start UG admissions once Class 12 results are out, and complete the process by September-end. Classes for fresh batches will begin in October.
