Chief minister of Assam & Nagaland meet Union Home Minister Amit Shah in New Delhi

Digital Desk: Assam Chief Minister Himanta Biswa Sarma and Nagaland Chief Minister Neiphiu Rio held a crucial meeting with Union Home Minister Amit Shah at his official residence on Monday. 

Taking to social media platform X, the Nagaland CM shared photos of the meeting and stated, "Called on the Hon'ble Union Home Minister and Minister of Cooperation Shri Amit Shah ji, along with Shri Himanta Biswa Sarma ji, the Hon'ble CM of Assam. Grateful to him for his personal concern and commitment towards peace and development in Nagaland and the entire Northeast region."

Nagaland Chief Minister Neiphiu Rio expressed gratitude for Shah's personal concern and commitment to peace and development in Nagaland and the entire Northeast region. 

While specific details of the meeting are yet to be officially disclosed, there is speculation that the resolution of the inter-state border dispute between Assam and Nagaland was a key agenda.
